3 Least Used Items in Mobile Legends That You Should Be Using

Mobile Legends is a popular MOBA game with a wide variety of items to choose from. However, some items are more popular than others. In this article, we will discuss three of the least used items in Mobile Legends, and why they deserve more attention.

Blood Wings

Blood Wings is a magical item that provides the highest magic power boost (+175), making it an excellent choice for mages seeking a significant increase in damage output. It also has a unique passive ability that creates a shield equivalent to 200% of the hero's maximum HP. This shield enhances both damage potential and durability, making it invaluable in late-game situations. Additionally, while the shield remains active, the hero gains a 30% increase in movement speed, enabling them to either pursue enemies or escape danger.

Despite its many advantages, Blood Wings is rarely seen in games. The primary reason is its steep price tag—coming in at 3000 gold coins, it's the most expensive magic item in the shop. This makes it nearly impossible for users to acquire it in the early or mid-game stages. There are numerous other, more budget-friendly magic items that offer solid damage output as well.

Blood Wings truly shines as a late-game item. However, in that phase, defensive options like Immortality often appear more practical, granting your hero a second chance to escape death.

Holy Crystal can serve as a cost-effective alternative to Blood Wings. While it may not provide as much initial magic power (+100), it scales with the hero's level. Pairing Holy Crystal with other items to boost a hero's magic power can sometimes result in even greater damage output than Blood Wings, particularly in late-game scenarios.

For these reasons, many mage users tend to avoid Blood Wings in their games.

Twilight Armor

Twilight Armor is a defensive item that offers incredible benefits, yet it remains one of the most underrated items for tank users. This is likely due to the numerous changes to its passive ability over time.

Before its revamp, Twilight Armor's passive limited the damage a hero could receive, making it a good choice against enemies with high burst damage, such as Aldous with a full-stack ultimate or heroes that deal true damage.

However, Twilight Armor's new passive is even more powerful. It now mitigates any damage exceeding 600 points by up to 150, plus 15% of your hero's maximum HP. This means that the more HP your hero has, the more damage Twilight Armor can negate.

To maximize its effectiveness, consider pairing Twilight Armor with other items that grant substantial additional HP, such as Guardian Helmet or Cursed Helmet.

Twilight Armor also offers protection against all types of damage, including physical, magical, true damage, and even turret shots. This makes it an ideal choice for tank users, especially as a late-game item. Surprisingly, this valuable item remains relatively unknown among many players.

Encourage

Encourage is a roaming item that provides benefits to ease your roaming tasks. However, it is often the least utilized roaming item in the game.

Encourage passive grants its users and nearby teammates additional physical attack and magical power (12-30 points, scaling with gold from thriving). The passive also increases attack speed by 15%. This roaming item is particularly effective for maximizing your teammates' damage output during team fights.

From its passive benefits, we can see that this roaming item is well-suited for tank roamers with substantial HP who can initiate battles in their ultimate area, such as Minshitar, Bellerick, or Hylos. This way, your teammates can benefit from Encourage passive.

Because it helps teammates maximize their damage, using this roaming item can lead to free assists every time your teammates eliminate enemies, making the tanker have a chance to be the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the game.

Unfortunately, many players prefer using Conceal over Encourage.

While these items may not be as popular as others, they can be extremely effective in the right hands. If you are looking for a way to give yourself an edge in your next Mobile Legends match, consider trying out one of these least used items.
