5 Heroes In Mobile Legends Who Thrive on Their Passive Powers

In the realm of Mobile Legends, certain heroes possess passive abilities that not only define their playstyle but also serve as the backbone of their offensive prowess. These heroes are the true masters of their unique passives, using them to engage, outmaneuver, and dominate their enemies on the battlefield. In this post let's talk about  "5 Heroes In Mobile Legends Who Thrive on Their Passive Powers".

Luo Yi (The Yin Yang Reaction)

Luo Yi is the first hero on our list, and she's a formidable force. Her unique passive ability, known as "The Yin Yang Reaction," is a crucial component in dispatching enemies efficiently. While some may find it slightly annoying, it's a game-changer. At just level two, she can unleash her combo.

Luo Yi's skills come in two colors: yellow and purple, symbolizing Yin and Yang. Her first skill marks an enemy target, leaving the mark in place for a few seconds. When two enemies with differently colored marks stand close, the Yin Yang Reaction occurs, pulling them together, stunning them, and dealing a burst of damage. This marks the first way to harness her unique passive.

The second method, and perhaps the most vexing for opponents, allows Luo Yi to stun enemies twice. To execute this combo, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that Luo Yi's first and second skills have different colors (e.g., yellow for the first skill and purple for the second).
  2. Apply a mark to an enemy using her first skill, giving them a yellow mark. If marking the enemy directly proves challenging, hit the last minion so that the dust from Luo Yi's first skill spreads and hits the enemy.
  3. After marking the enemy, both of her skills will be the same color (purple). To stun an enemy twice, the colors of her first and second skills must differ. To achieve this, throw her first skill in any direction without hitting an enemy. This action changes Luo Yi's first skill color to yellow, and you're now ready to execute the combo.
  4. Chase the enemy and target them with the second skill (purple). This should trigger Luo Yi's passive, the Yin Yang Reaction, stunning, bursting, and pulling the enemy towards the center of her second skill.
  5. Finally, hit the enemy with her yellow first skill to subject them to the same effect again. This double stun makes it incredibly challenging for them to escape.

In the early game, consider using Flameshot for the final blow. However, in the late game, this combo alone should suffice to burst down your enemies. Mastering Luo Yi's Yin Yang Reaction is the key to her battlefield effectiveness.

Barats (The Big Guy)

Barats is a dwarf who rides a dinosaur named Detona. His unique passive ability, which allows him to increase his body size (I mean Detona), sets him (+ Detona) apart as the largest hero in Mobile Legends.

Barats' passive ability activates when he hits an enemy or creeps with any of his skills, and he can stack up to a maximum of 25 times, making him an excellent choice as a jungler.

Each stack of his passive provides the following benefits:

  1. 2 points of physical defense (up to a maximum of 50 points)
  2. 5 points of magical defense (up to a maximum of 75 points)
  3. 2% resilience (up to a maximum of 50%, reducing crowd control effects).

These benefits make Barats a robust and hard-to-eliminate hero.

However, it's crucial to note that Barats' stacks only last for 12 seconds. This means that Barats must continuously hit enemies or creeps to maintain his stacks. If he fails to do so within this timeframe, the stacks diminish rapidly, causing his body size (Detona) to decrease, and he loses these valuable benefits.

Therefore, when playing as Barats, make sure to consistently use his skills to hit enemies or creeps to maintain your stacks. This will help you avoid becoming a vulnerable target.

Yi Sun Shin (The Heavenly Vow)

Yi Sun-Shin, also known as YSS, is a marksman hero in Mobile Legends. He is renowned for his powerful passive ability, "The Heavenly Vow," which allows him to attack enemies or jungle creeps with either a sword or a bow, depending on their distance.

When YSS is close to an enemy, he will use his sword to attack. However, if he is slightly further from the target, YSS will attack using his bow.

What makes YSS's passive unique is that his first basic attack after switching weapons deals the highest critical damage. This means that YSS can deal substantial damage to enemies by swiftly switching between his sword and bow.

To master YSS's passive, you need to practice moving back and forth to enable him to switch weapons. This can be challenging initially but is essential for using YSS effectively.

By mastering YSS's passive, you can become a potent marksman hero, swiftly eliminating enemies and making yourself a valuable asset to any team.

Benedetta (The Elapsed Daytime)

Benedetta is an assassin hero in Mobile Legends, known for her powerful passive ability, "The Elapsed Daytime." This ability enables her to dash multiple times in any direction, making her exceedingly difficult to catch (all of her skills involve a dash movement).

To activate her passive, Benedetta needs to accumulate 3 passive points. She can do this by:

  1. Landing 3 basic attacks on an enemy.
  2. Using her first skill, "Phantom Slash" (which grants 2 passive points).
  3. Using her second skill, "An Eye For An Eye" (which grants 1 passive point).

Once Benedetta's passive is activated, she can dash and deal damage to enemies using her second skill.

The most straightforward method to activate Benedetta's passive is by utilizing her ultimate, "Alecto: Final Blow." When using her ultimate against a single enemy, you can dash multiple times (up to three times).

However, when deploying her ultimate against waves of minions or a group of three or more enemies, her passive enters a cooldown-free state. This permits you to employ her dash skill even more frequently as long as her ultimate remains active.

Benedetta's passive skill allows her to penetrate through enemy lines because, when she dashes, she is immune to any crowd control effects. After lowering the enemy's HP by dashing to them, you can use her first skill to finish them off.

Natalia (The Assassin Instinct)

Natalia is a fearsome assassin, thanks to her passive ability that allows her to vanish from the map after entering a bush. This enables her to launch surprise attacks on enemy targets and eliminate them without giving them a chance to escape. She is a nightmare for squishy heroes like marksmen and mages.

Natalia's passive ability was revamped last month. Now, she becomes entirely invisible when approaching enemies, but her silhouette can still be seen, similar to Lesley's first skill or Aamon's passive. She remains invisible as long as she does not take or deal damage. To activate her passive, she only needs to stay in a bush for 1 second.

These changes make her an excellent roamer, allowing her to sneak behind enemy lines and "kidnap" the squishy heroes.

In Mobile Legends, mastery of a hero's passive ability can be the difference between victory and defeat. The heroes we've discussed, who thrive on their passive powers, offer diverse playstyles and strategic advantages.

By understanding the intricacies of these unique passives and practicing their utilization, you'll not only enhance your gaming skills but also discover the exhilaration of unleashing their full potential. As you venture forth into the world of Mobile Legends, remember that it's not just about the heroes you choose but how adeptly you wield their passives that truly counts.
